Ahmedabad: Gujarat on Sunday adds 6,275 new Covid cases, a 10.5% increase compared to the calculation on Saturday.
With an update, active cases rose to 27,913 – Adding 5,012 cases in a day at level 3 cases per minute, the highest since the second wave.
The four major cities accounted for 80% of new cases.
It was the second day in a row for the zero state of the mortality of covid patients.
The topic of the top five countries with the highest Covid active case on January 9 revealed that Ahmedabad contributed 47% of the total active state cases.
The city comes fourth in terms of the ratio of active case districts in the country – Bengaluru accounts for 83% of the active case of Karnataka, followed by 60% of Maharashtra cases in Mumbai and 50.5% of the Tamil Nadu case from Chennai.
The state does not record new cases of omicron variants in 24 hours, while the country has 50 active cases of variants.
“There are no patients who have recorded severe complications.
On average, patients have spent 5 to 8 days under hospitalization before testing negatively,” said a city-based critical care specialist.
