Thiruvananthapuram: The country witnessed 6,546 positive Covid cases from 66,486 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Among new cases detected, 5,541 people have taken vaccinations and 1,849 have not even taken a single dose.
However, 2,514 people among new cases they have taken the two doses.
The current total active case is 72,876 where 7% of people are accepted both in hospitals or in other treatment centers.
At the same time 7,085 patients had recovered from the disease.
Meanwhile, 50 recently confirmed deaths as caused by Covid took the death toll in the state to 33,515.
Among new cases, 6,041 has been infected through local deployment.
Infectious contact sources cannot be traced to 448.
There are 41 health care professionals among those infected and 16 of those who have been tested positively have arrived from outside the country.
Ernakulam reported the highest number of 1,037 cases followed by Thiruvananthapuram (888), Kollam (774), Kozhikode (754), Thrissur (724), Kottayam (508), Kannur (394), Patakkad (267), Pathanamthitta (267), Wayanad (220), Malappuram (215), Idukki (181), Alappuzha (142), and Kasaragod (99).
The highest number of patients tested negatively comes from Thiruvananthapuram (1,229).
The numbers from other districts are, Kollam (554), Pathanamthitta (585), Alappuzha (307), Kottayam 591, Idukki (399), Ernakulam (944), Thrissur (119), Palampuram (319), Malappuram (319) , Kozhikode (816), Wayanad (293), Kannur (369) and Kasaragod (109).
There were a total of 2,40,336 people today under the supervision of which 2,33,927 in their homes or institutional quarantine centers and 6,409 in isolation at the hospital.
In accordance with the weekly infection population ratio, 46 ​​wards in 39 local bodies currently have more than 10% WIPR.
On this ward, strict limitation locking has been implemented.
