T’puram: The country witnessed 6,580 positive cases of 62,219 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Among new cases detected, 5,553 people have taken vaccinations, 2,507 and 1,844 do not even take a single dose.
The current total active case is 73,733, where 7.3% of people are accepted both in hospitals or other care centers.
The state also reported 46 Covid deaths, took the victim to 33,048.
At the same time, 7,085 patients have recovered from the disease.
Among new cases, 6,167 cases have been infected through local deployment.
The contact source of infection cannot be traced to 352.
Thiruvananthapuram reported the highest number of cases with 878, followed by Ernakulam (791) and Thrissur (743).
There are 2,47,485 people currently observing in various districts, where 2,40,859 are in their homes or institutional quarantine centers, and 6,626 in isolation in hospitals.
In accordance with the weekly infection population ratio, 46 wards in 39 local bodies have more than 10% WIPR.
