Ahmedabad: It sounds unreasonable, but what one Zone Zone Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) is a reasonable information that can be shared under the Rights Law on Information (RTI), six other zones feel confidential information about Pandemic Covid-19 which cannot be shared.
After receiving conflicting replies from the AMC zone, Activist RTI Alpesh Bhavsar has appealed with a civilian body.
Bhavsar has been searching for information about patients treated by a personally designated Covid Hospital and the amount paid by AMC to this hospital in lieu of treatment.

“Information that is sought is not public information in Section 4 EPIDEMI Law 1897.
Because this information is confidential and work has been done in good faith, this information cannot be considered as public information based on RTI Act,” Read replies.
However, the AMC center zone thinks otherwise.
This gives Bhavsar with the names of private hospitals named Covid Hospital, the number of beds available for Covid-19 treatment at this hospital and the amount replaced by AMC to the hospital to treat patients covid-19.
Bhavsar has been looking for these details for the period from April 2020 to June 2021.
“It is a fact that Covid-19 patients are beautified by private hospitals appointed as Covid-19 hospitals.
