Amravati: Results of the 190 Genom Sample RT-PCR samples collected in June and July from Amravati have confirmed six positive cases of Delta + variants.
On Wednesday, the National Institute of Virology (NIV) in Pune confirmed this to the Amravati District Administration.
All patients have fully recovered.
Genome sequencies studies are being carried out in several districts as part of national supervision through the Indian SARS-COV-2 genomic consortium (Insacog) to maintain a new variant or Coronavirus mutation.
Amravati University Covid Testing Lab has sent 160 samples in June and 30 months ago to NIV.
The sample pair from Mohan Nagar and one from Arjun Nagar in the city was found positive for Delta +, despite the village of Boroda in Chandur Bazar Tehsil, Warud and Dave Village in Morshi Tehsil.
Dr.
Prashant Thakary, Nodal Officer of the University Lab, told Tii that the couple Mohan Nagar had taken a covaxin dose on June 27 and both were tested positive for Covid three days later.
“They have fully recovered together with the third patient from Arjun Nagar.
There are no other members of their families who are positively tested,” he said.
Guardian Minister Amravati Yashomati Thakur has urged people not to panic but to follow the appropriate behavior of Covid.
Dr.
Dilip Ranmalm, district health workers, told TOI that all three Delta Patients + from rural belts were in a healthy condition and were being monitored regularly.
Meanwhile, the region saw an increase in new cases in 37 while recovery was less in 19, which occurred in the fifth time this month.
Only Bhandara and Gondia did not report new cases.
Wardha did not report any recovery.
No death recorded in this region.
Gadchiroli: District reported five new cases while three patients recovered, left 40 active cases.
Washim: Two new patients and one recovery occurred in the district.
Kaseload is 41,703 and the cumulative toll 637.
Now, 564 patients are in care.
Bhandara: The district did not report death or case while one patient recovered on Wednesday, only leaving six active cases now.
Gondia: District reported a new case but no death and recovery.

Bulldhana: District reported eight new Covid cases and no death.
According to official data, there are three recovery, leaving 24 active cases.
Akola: District reported six patients but no recovery and no death.
The active case is 16.
Amravati: Only two new cases and four recovery took the district Caseload to 96,651 and recovered to 95.044 on Wednesday.
Without Covid’s death, the number of active cases under treatment is 45.
Wardha: One more patient tested positive on Wednesday, taking the total number of cases to 49,390.
No one was dismissed while recovery remained unchanged at 48,060 and 5 positive active on Wednesday.
There were no new deaths reported while the toll remained unchanged at 1,325.
Yavatmal: The case graph has shown a trend increase after a long spell.
On Wednesday, there were 6 new positive patients, 4 women and 2 men from Digras (5) and Tmarkhed (1) Tehsils.
Because there were no reports of death, the victim remained unchanged at 1,787.
Administration received 1,134 positive reports.
Chandrapur: With three detection and the same number of recovery, active cases remain stable at the age of 40 on Wednesday.
Toll remains unchanged at 1.539.
Kaseload has gone up to 88,611, while the total recovery is 87,032.
