Noida: The police have been left confused after finding six unknown bodies, including three women, in various regions in Greater Noida in the past two weeks.
The police said most of them were killed and then thrown into a remote road.
These bodies were found in Dankaur, Bibrakh, Surajpur, the knowledge park and the police station area of Kasna.
On Thursday, a body of a woman around 36 years old was found in the forest under the area of the Dankaur Police Station.
A senior officer said that the body gave birth to a severe injury in the head.
“It seems that his head was broken with a heavy object and then the body was thrown here,” he said.
The initial investigation has suggested that the man be strangled to death by criminals.
“We scan the recording of CCTV cameras installed in the area to identify the defendant.
The body has been sent for autopsy,” said a senior officer at the Surajpur Police Station.
Under the Bibrakh police station area, two bodies were found from various places on Sundays.
“The body of a man is around 30 years old found from a stalled housing project site in Greater Noida (West).
The deceased, which seems to be a daily bet, has no injury seen in the body.
An investigation has been ordered and efforts to identify the body,” said a senior officer at the police station.
Another male body, around 55 years old, was also found from behind Shankar Colony in Chipyana Village.
The visa samples were collected and sent for forensic tests after post-mortem.
