6 Brand New Electrical crematoriums into comeup at Prayagraj, Just One in Shringverpur

Prayagraj: In an effort to dissuade burial of anatomy to the banks of river Ganga, the Prayagraj district government will install seven new electrical crematoriums at the district.
Of them, six will be in the municipal limits whereas the seventh could come up in Shringverpur, for that the district government has already recognized 4 biswa land.
Currently, Prayagraj town has only two electrical crematoriums — one every day at Daraganj and Shankarghat (Teliyarganj).
The suggestion for building an electric crematorium in Shringverpur bears importance since the banks of river Ganga at this spiritual website hogged the limelight lately for having several burial websites.
The district government had promised that this had become the practice among sailors residing in the area of the region.
But thinking about the fact that the practice goes contrary to the standards laid down beneath National Green Tribunal (NGT), the district government has chosen to create the locals attentive to the ill-effects of this clinic concerning contamination and also NGT guidelines and supply them with a workable choice in form of electrical crematoriumand district officials said.
For this, the sales department group has recognized 4 biswa property (approximately 500 square meters).
A proposal has been prepared from the local government and the exact same will be sent into the district magistrate on behalf of the Panchayati Raj section.
The papers have been prepared through SDM Soraon Anil Chaturvedi.
“We’re planning the proposal for building an electric crematorium in Shringverpur and the exact same will be submitted into your higher-ups in a few days.
When the approval has been granted, we’d proceed with the building job,” said district panchayati raj officer (DPRO), Renu Srivastava.
The concept of owning an electric crematorium in Shringverpur isn’t new.
Before, the federal Ramayana mela organising committee as well as the regional individuals also had increased a similar requirement.
Observing this, MLA in Phaphamau Vikramajit Maurya had composed a letter to the state authorities.
In addition, six electric crematoriums will appear in Sangam town.
Even the Prayagraj Municipal Corporation (PMC) had held a digital assembly a week wherein it had been determined that four electrical crematoriums are constructed inside the town limits.

Before, PMC suggested for crematoriums in Kanaipur, Kerala Bagh region, Arail in Naini and Mahewa.
PMC’s public officer and chief tax officer, PK Mishrasaid,”PMC is focusing on the problem of getting six extra electrical crematoriums over the municipal limits as well as the land to the sole in Chatnag has been nearly finalised.
