Budaun: Six people, including two women and a child, died and three others were injured on Wednesday when their Tempo was hit by a truck in the Kunwargaon area in the Badun District of Uttar, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Munesh (45), Murari (38), Bundi (54), Premlata (55), Sapna (24) and Kavya (4), said ASP Praveen Singh Chauhan.
The incident occurred near Lalai Village when the Tempo carrying the victims fell to the edge of the road after being hit by a truck, he said.
The officer said the tempo was overloaded because the passengers could not escape.
The body has been sent for postmortem, he said.
No arrest has so far been made in this relationship, ASP said, adding that this problem was being examined.
