Yavatmal: The Special Police Team under the leadership of PIS Deepmala Bhende and Vivek Deshmukh and the Fire Amol Puri on Sunday simultaneously raided three housing places in the puspus city after receiving information about cricket bets when the T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan were playing.
According to SP Dr.
Dilip Patil Bhujbal, the police arrested six people, including Bookies Cricket and confiscated two laptops, 14 cellphones, two TVs and cash, total worth RS3.4 lakh from them.
People who were arrested were identified as Sheikh Samir aka Kamaran SK Shamshu (24), Sandeep Raosaheb Deshmukh (33), Kailas Lakhanlal Sahu (43), Aravind Pawar (32), Balasaheb Deshmukh (30) and Muhammad Altaf Mohd Isaque (40 ).
