6 injured in three separate polling violent incidents

Rajkot: Six people were injured in three separate violent incidents that erupted after the results of the Village Panchayat election were announced on Tuesday night.
Three separate firs have been submitted in connection with incidents at various police stations.
In the first case, Mukta Makwana lost the election for the Sarpanch Pos from Kenedipur Village in Mendarda Taluka from the Junagadh district.
After the results were announced, Ravat Kathi, Babulal Kathi and some unidentified people approached Mukta Ashok’s cousin and his friends and harassed them.
They allegedly hit Ashok, and his friends Shailesh, Nagdan and Chanu with sticks and pipes.
Ashok suffered a critical injury and was shifted to a civil hospital Rajkot for further treatment.
Three friends suffered minor injuries.
In another incident associated with the election of Panchayat, Rajninbhai Makwana was beaten allegedly by Mahavarisinh Jadeja, Kripalinh Jadeja and RevTubha Jadieja in the village of Navagam Lalpur Taluka from the Jamnagar district.
Rajnibhai’s father lost the election for Sarpanch’s position.
However, the trio of the defendant defeated Rajnibhai said it was how they were fighting for the election in the first place.
In Sardhar Village on the outskirts of Rajkot, Rajesh Bhadukiya was injured after being attacked by Mansukh Dhakecha and others.
Violence broke out when Dhakecha celebrated the victory of Patel’s door and Bhadukya asked him not to explode firecrackers near his house.
Irked by Bhadukiya Dhakecha’s comments and the others allegedly beat him.
