Raipur: Six personnel of the central reserve police forces (CRPF) were injured in the explosion on the number 2 platform from the Raipur train station in Chhattisgarh on Saturday morning.
Jawan rushed to the hospital where the condition of the police chief was declared important.
The incident occurred at around 6:30 a.m.
when Jawan shifted the detonator box, fell on the floor.
The boxes are being shifted from one coach to another special CRPF train.
“The box carrying detonators accidentally fell while the shift was carried out by the CRPF personnel at the Raiipur train station.
Nearly 29 detonators exploded because several personnel were injured.
Two of them were released after the first aid while the others shifted to the hospital,” Dalip Ambesh, spokesman CRPF tells Toi.
The people in the platform rushed towards the sound of the explosion and found six judged.
The place is closed and every movement on the platform comes to traffic jams until the rescue of Jawan is done.
Details about where explosives are done, it has not been confirmed.
Jawan was treated at a private hospital in Raipur.
