Jaipur: Five people were killed and two injured in three separate accidents throughout the state on Saturday.
The driver and truck cleaners were killed while the other two were injured in a collision of heads between two trucks near Goredi Village under the LaaDnun Police Station area in Nagaur.
“One truck carries powder while others carry a forest.
In a collision, two people identified as Bhagwana Ram and Mohan Ram JAT were killed and two others were injured,” said an officer of Laadnun Police Station.
In another incident, a truck driver was blocked by death near Kenpura in Pali district when the vehicle tires exploded and the cabin was on fire.
“It was a big fire when the truck lost balance and upside down.
The driver was trapped and scorched dead,” said an officer.
In another accident on Friday night, three young men who returned to bicycles after attending a wedding was killed after a truck carrying upside down and fell on a bicycle near the Golpura Circle in Bharatpur.
“The truck brought more than 850 sacks of cement.
Because of being overloaded, the truck was upside down.
Two bicycles carrying three people died.
The deceased was identified as Bobby (24), Sonu (25) and pushpendra (25),” said a senior police officer.
The family of three friends was angry when they blamed the police administration and the transportation department for the accident.
