Patna: More than 79 Covid’s Lakh Vaccine doses have been given in the state in 30 days since the launch of ‘six crore vaccination in six months’ drive by the government on July 1 according to a rough estimate, 2.42 doses of crore vaccines are given in the state since the drive launch National on January 16, July only contributed 33% vaccination.
The country expects to get more than 86 doses of lakh vaccines in August to intensify the drive more.
Among the 2.42 crore people who were vaccinated in the state until Saturday morning, 2.03 Crore had received their first shot and 39 lakh second shots.

The additional health department of Pratyaya Amrit’s secretary said they were moving in the right direction and with the right enthusiasm as far as vaccination.

Asked about vaccination carried out far in Bihar so far, Amrit said initially the focus was in the worst affected areas and urban areas.
“After completing vaccination in this area, we shift focus on the block.
Even the workforce involved in the vaccination process is moved accordingly,” he added.
