MUZAFFARNAGAR: Authorities in Arabian Shamli district closed shops that were located open through lockdown and imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on each one of the shop operator. Based on Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Mani Arora, all these stores in Jhinjhana city were working in breach of their lockdown guidelines. Whoever owns a garment showroom has been arrested for the offense, the SDM stated. Challans were issued to 18 individuals in Jhinjhana on Saturday for drifting around town, officials explained.
