Coimbatore: The food security department is trying to get a happy hygiene offer for the certificate of God (BHOG) for the six temples left in the atmosphere of the Kitchen Temple atmosphere which prepares Prasadam and Annadhanam for thousands of worshipers every day.
At least 29 temples in the district have received BHOG certification so far, thanks to the efforts of concentrating by food security officials and officials of the Department of Religion and Charity Hindu.
As part of the certification process, the pre-audit will be carried out by a third party to find out the problems in the kitchen and suggest corrective steps.
Then there will be another audit to check whether the recommended steps are taken.
If found satisfactorily, the certificate will be issued.
“Apart from infrastructure, parameters such as cleanliness and best practices in preparing food are seen while issuing certificates,” said an official.
He said they were sure to get a Bhog certificate for six temples left in a few weeks.
