Mumbai: The state can report 60 cases of lakh if ​​there is a third wave and most cases on peak days tend to come from the city and pune, estimate the public health department.
The city reported 91,100 cases at the top of the second wave on March 11, while on the peak day the third wave of the department expected cases of 1.36 lakh.
At Pune, 1.25 lakh cases were reported in Peak Day on March 19, and it was estimated that 1.87 cases of lakh would be reported on the third wave day.
“A large number of cases will be in Pune and Mumbai and the Ministry of Health Public must develop a comprehensive action plan to overcome the situation,” said a bureaucrat.
Of the estimated 1.36 lakh patients in the city on the peak day, 88,823 will likely remain under house quarantine, 47,928 is likely to be hospitalized, and 957 may require an ICU bed with a ventilator.
In Pune, 1.21 lakh people may remain in home isolation, and 1,314 may require an ICU bed with a ventilator.
In the neighboring district of Thane, the peak day during the second wave rose 86,732 cases, while the third wave tended to have a peak day with 1.3 lakh cases and 911 people who needed an ICU bed with a ventilator.
In Nagpur, the number of cases is likely to rise from 80,000 on the second peak day to 1.21 lakh on the third wave day with 850 people who need an ICU bed with a ventilator.
The city will need 250mt oxygen, Pune will need 270mt, Thane 187MT, Nagpur 175MT and Nashik 114MT.
Bureaucrats say that for ICU beds, including a non-ventilator bed, at least 30 liters per minute per bed will be needed.
For beds outside the ICU, it will be 10 liters per minute per bed.
The Ministry of Health Public has explained that no drug to be obtained or distributed is not mentioned in the protocol.
The country is in the process of procuring drugs and consumables for the third wave and all drugs will be supplied by the government.
At least two months of buffer shares must be stored in a district.
