Vadodara: A 60-year-old man gave up on an injury on Monday morning after he met a cow in the middle of the road on September 11 in the same.
However, the police registered a rash case when they suspected that the man’s bike slipped when it rained on the day of the incident.
The deceased was identified as Himmat Savani returned home together with his wife in his bicycle when the accident took place near Aiyappa Ground.
Savani’s son said that his parents fell when a cow came on the road and the motorbike hit a cow.
“Initially, we felt that they might have slipped, but then asked around people, we learned that a piece of a piece of a cow suddenly got up and came in front of them because they fell,” said Kirtan.
Savani’s wife suffered minor injuries while her ribs were broken and she suffered from brain bleeding.
The couple was taken to the SSG hospital where Savani died during treatment.
Kirtan said that the authority of the citizenship must take action, so similar incidents did not happen again.
“I just don’t want other people to live what our family go through now, so a permanent solution about roaming bovines on the road must be taken,” he said.
“We have looked strictly about the cow released by the owner on the road.
Previously during the festival, VMC was used to release the cow at no charge, but this year we haven’t done it,” said Mayor Vadodara Keyur Rokadia to Ti.
“We have asked the state government to provide grazing land in areas that are now part of the city of Vadodara, so we can ask for livestock owners to shift their animals there,” he added.
It was only last month that VMC Arvind Rana staff were broken down by a cow.
Shutter rushed to the nearest hospital where he was found that he suffered a fracture in his hands and legs.
In recent years, some people have died or injured by cows roaming the streets of the city.
The Civic’s body has also submitted a criminal complaint against cow owners, but barely increases the situation.
