Mumbai: In a new step in the bus transportation sector, Redbus, the online bus ticket platform, on Thursday announced the launch of a bus service with vaccinated passengers in more than 600 routes throughout the country.

Ticket bookings in this service require travelers to receive at least the first shot of the Covid-19 vaccine and they must submit the same evidence when it rises.
“The route throughout India will cover them in Maharashtra including Mumbai-Aurangabad, Mumbai-Ahmednagar and Pune-Jalgaon,” said an official from the company.
“We will improve services based on response to new initiatives,” he said.
Said Redbus Prakash Sangam’s CEO, “according to our recent survey with our customers, 89 percent of respondents said that they preferred traveling with buses that had all bus staff and co-passengers vaccinated with at least one dose of the Covid vaccine .
“The service is being introduced in collaboration with private partner bus operators who have more than four star five stars on the platform, the official said.
The physical partner bus operator staff will verify the vaccination / proof ID certificate for all adult passengers before going up, except for passengers under the age of 18.
Passengers who fail to provide the necessary evidence will be rejected by the hostel.

Given to partner bus operators that meet the highest safety and sanititis standards.
“This includes a deep cleaning of the bus after each trip, mandatory masking, saniti hand sation and thermal screenings from passengers and crew,” added Sangam.
