Madurai: In special camps in Madurai, 643 police personnel from various districts in the South Zone handed over complaint petitions on Monday to the southern zone of Inspector General of Police (IG).
This camp was carried out as part of the initiative to correct complaints under the ‘CM scheme in the election’ or ‘Ungal Thoguthiyil Muthalvar’.
In Monday’s camp was held in armed reserve land in Madurai, complaints of police personnel were heard by IG.
Various complaints are placed by police officials about transferring, salaries, promotions, and disciplinary actions and others.
IG promised to look into the petition asked and ensure that they were arranged at the beginning.
Similar special complaint camps were carried out on September 30 for police officials in the city of Madurai and district boundaries with petitions submitted to Police Commissioners, Madurai City, Prem Anand Sinha and Madurai District Police Inspector V Baskaran.
