New Delhi: A 61-year-old man suspected of killing his wife and then hanging himself at the Southwest Delhi Vasant Kunj, it seems after the heated argument, the police said on Friday.
The couple often fought, but the exact reason behind the alleged killing was unknown, and this problem was being investigated, they said.
There are no suicide records that have recovered from the house, police said.
According to them, the heated argument broke out between Jahid Ali and Nazneen aged 53 years on Thursday night, after a husband who allegedly hit his wife on his head with a blunt object and killed him.
He was then allegedly hanging himself from the ceiling fan using the old kurta, police said.
The 16-year-old son of a student, a 12th grade student, told a Neigbhour about the incident who later told the police, a senior officer said.

The initial investigation showed that the man killed his wife using a blunt object and then hung himself.
But there was no suicide found from that place.
