Noida: The police have seized marijuana 615 kg with a value of roads around Rs 1 Crore from pick-up trucks during operations in Hathras District Uttar Pradesh, officials said on Friday.
Three allegations of smugglers were arrested during the final attack on Thursday, Jaiswal Police Vineet Supervisors said, adding the consignment brought from the Kerala they had from their ownership.
“They will bring Cannabis from Kerala and store them in rented accommodation here before selling it further in smaller amounts in Hathras and the nearest district,” Jaiswal said.
A pine has been put forward at the Sasni Police Station against the defendant, was identified as Geetam Singh, Rajesh Kumar – Indigenous Hathras – and Jitendra Singh, who came from the District of Aligarh, officials said, adding further processing.
The police team, led by the Gaurav Saxena Station House Officer (SHO), has been valued at Rs 25,000 for their efforts in this case, they said.
