Varanasi: Of the 8,227 test reports received, 629 was confirmed as positive for Coronavirus infection in the Varanasi district on Tuesday.
However, 805 patients including 801 in medicine in home insulation and four at hospital facilities were declared cured.
According to a daily medical bulletin, with a new case detection the number of active cases of Koronavirus infection increased to 4,540 in the district.
As many as three Covid patients were hospitalized, increasing the number of patients being treated at the 1st hospital in Chandauli, 87 people including 41 women and seven children were tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday.
With new cases, the number of active cases increased to 524 in the district.
However, 90 patients were declared cured, and a sample of 2,372 people was collected for testing new cases of Koronavirus infection on Tuesday, increasing the number of active cases to 391.
However, 56 patients including 55 in home insulation and one in hospital facilities were declared cured on the day Tuesday.
