Ludhiana: A total of 63 cases of dengue fever were reported in Ludhiana on Sunday.
According to the Ministry of Health’s report, from 63 new cases, 48 came from the city, three of Khanna, two from Jagraon and 10 of the rural areas.
With this, the number of district cases has increased to 759.
Of these, 565 came from Ludhiana City, 34 of Jagraon, 23 of Khanna and 137 of rural areas.
Of cases of rural areas, 25 came from Sahnewal and Sudhar, 22 of Kon Kalan, 12 of Sidhwan Bet, 11 each of Pakhowal and Malauud, eight of Hathur, each of the Samrala, Machhiwara and Manupur.
Dengue cases suspected in the district until Sunday night are 2,308.
The area from where it is registered is Haibowal Kalan, Kitchlu Nagar, Jalan Barewal, Jalan Pakhowal, Shivpuri, Rajguru Nagar, BRS Nagar, Jassian Road, Gopal Nagar, Hambran Street, Haibowal Khurd, Sector 32, Aggar Nagar, Shimla Colony, Yarn Avenue, Daba Road, Barewal Awana, Shivaji Nagar, Model Town Extension, New Madhopuri, Kundanpuri, Noorwala Road, Joshi Nagar, Amar Nagar, Ghumar Bath, Atam Nagar, Kuliwal Jamalpur, among others.
