Varanasi: While the sample of 634 people from 7,993 was tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday, 1,023 patients recovered in the Varanasi district.
According to a daily medical bulletin, with patient recovery, the number of active cases decreases to 4,152 of 4,540.
Among recovery patients, 1,015 was in a house isolation, while eight patients were at hospital facilities.
Two patients were hospitalized on Wednesday.
There are currently 20 patients at hospital facilities.
In the Chandauli District, 116 people included 38 women and seven children were tested positive for Covid-19, while 90 patients were declared recovered on Wednesday.
A sample of 1,918 people was collected in the district.
Kabupatenballia also reported 89 new cases of Koronavirus infection on Wednesday, increasing the number of active cases to 325.
However, 58 patients were declared cured in Ballia.
In Jaunpur District, 84 people were tested positive for Covid-19, while 64 patients in house isolation were declared recovered on Wednesday.
At present, the number of active cases is 411 in Jaunpur.
