Kanpur: The day after recording the highest single day calculation of the Covid case on the third wave, new cases on Sunday slipped to 635.
On Saturday, 863 Covid cases were recorded.
On the brighter side, 426 patients recovered from Covid infection.
From this total, two were dismissed from hospitals after recovery while the remaining recovered in house isolation.
There is no Covid death in this district.
The number of active cases in the district on Sunday increased to 3,760, registering an increase in the calculation of Saturday 3,550 active cases.
New cases are recorded from all cities.
The areas from the Covid case were recorded including Vikas Nagar, Wisnupuri, Azad Nagar, Geeta Nagar, Ashok Nagar, Krishna Nagar, Saket Nagar, Taste Tipe Nagar, and Acharya Nagar.
The Ministry of Health collects 6,180 samples on Sundays for covid tests.
