64% SIPS from small cities: Etmoney studies

Mumbai: The majority of mutual fund investors who put their money through a systematic investment plan (SIP) came from small cities compared to the top 10 metro and other large business hubs.
Of about 59 percent in 2017, contributions through SIPS are now increasing to 64 percent, an ethmoney survey shows.

This number has grew continuously from 49 percent in 2017 to 56 percent in 2018 to 61 percent in 2019 and 68 percent in 2020, the Etmoney survey showed.
