Thane: The Traffic Department Thane has updated the drive against a luxury number plate and has finished nearly 641 riders to say number plate regulations, collect RS 3.54 lakh from offenders since 1.

Meanwhile, the police also finished nearly 1,788 rickshaw drivers to bring passengers for their capacity in view of the current pandemic.
Police officers said that for the front seats Rs 11.8 lakh was well collected from offenders in the first 10 days 2022.

Thane traffic police have urged the riders to play back the luxury number plate to the original and standard number plate to avoid discomfort on the road.
