647 encroachment is likely to be destroyed in 2 months for the SAI project

Nagpur: Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has identified 647 encroachment which tends to be destroyed within two months for the construction of the Indian Sports Authority (SAI) Regional Center and the National Sports Training Institute (NSCI) in Wathoda in the East Nagpur.
The project was trapped even when it was done five and a half years ago.
Menkity MP and Union minister for road transportation and Jalan Raya Nitin Gadkari held a meeting with the Minister of Sports Union Anurag Thakur in relation to the past-day project.
Nagpur Timur Mla Krishna Khopde, who was too attending the meeting, told TOI that the seizure would be rehabilitated on seven hectares of land which was part of the property transferred by Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) for the project.
“They will be given an open plot but there is no compensation that will be given for the construction of houses.
Envantation is on the property owned by NMC,” he said.
It has directed the Ministry of Youth and Sports Ministry officials to ensure the elimination of encroachment within two months, according to Khopde.
“The ministry will break down encroachment with the help of NMC and NMRDA.
Thakur also issued an instructed official to take the help of the police department and continued the construction of a compound wall,” he said.
NMC has submitted 141.51 acre land for the project.
Gadkari and other officials have carried out Bhoomipai on April 30, 2016.
But encroachment creates a road barrier.
Allensive does not even allow the construction of compound walls.
Sai has proposed to carry out a project with an estimated cost of RS 160 Crore in three phases.
Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari, Chairman of Nit and Plane Commissioner of Manoj Kumar Suryawanshi, Supplementary City Commissioner Deepak Kumar Meena, Pravin Datke Legislator, Vikas Kumhare, NMC Sports Officer Piyush Ambhulkar, Dronacharya and Arjuna Award Winner Vijay Munishwar and the others were present at the meeting.
