653 solar factories installed in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has established 653 solar factories with a total capacity of 6910.69 kilowatts in the state.
The state has installed these factories for fire station solarization, Pancir Samiti office, Kastba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Odisha Aadarsha Vidyalaya, health and mining institutions under Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC).
Odisha’s renewable energy development agency (Oreda), the Nodal Country Agency under the Department of Science and Technology, works to use renewable energy resources in the state.
The state government of the State has reported that RS 17.29 Crore expenditure has occurred in government institutions solaries such as schools, health institutions, fires and mines, said the new and renewable energy minister RK Singh when answering questions at Lok Sabha on Thursday on Thursday .
According to official sources, 313 solar factories have been installed for fire department solarization by spending 7.36 crore Rs.
This will produce power 1727.69 kilowatt.
Likewise, the government has established 189 factories for the solarization of the Panchayat Samiti office in the state with more expenses than Rs 5.78 Crore.
189 This plant will create 2,595 kilowatt power.
A total of 1,54 crore rs have been spent on the installation of 29 solar factories in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya.
The government has established 40 factories in Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, 70 plants in health institutions and 12 plants in OMC mines.
State government works in remote villages / hamlets that illuminate / hamlets.
It has a plan to increase the share of renewable energy to 10 percent of the total mixture of power.
While large-scale solar power projects are being installed to achieve the ambitious target of 100 GW solar power plants in 2022, have been planned to simultaneously develop decentralized solar energy and other renewable energy generation in 2 MW, said government sources.
