66 ITI buildings above have solar plants

Lucknow: Nearly 66 State Industry Training Institutes (ITIS) at Uttar Pradesh will now be illuminated with solar energy.

The state government is preparing to install solar power plants in ITI buildings.
This will be a decision to save a big power besides ensuring an unbroken power supply.
ITI students in rural areas will benefit the most of this scheme.

According to spokesman for the Ministry of Education and Vocational Skills, solar power plants with a capacity of 40 kW each will be established in 66 itis from the country.
At present, more than 300 governments are operated in the state.
The number of seats in this is more than 1.19 lakh.
Recently, 44 new countries itis has functions by the government for the development of student skills.
This has resulted in an increase of more than 58,000 seats.
According to Kunal Silku, director of vocational education and skills development, most of itis is being carried out in rural areas.
In the first phase, solar power plants are being established in the rural areas where unbroken power supply will facilitate students in their practical and experimental works.
Also, the installation of power plants will meet the electrical requirements for online teaching, such as and if needed.
