66 protested KSRTC employees in MySuru, Chamarajanagar will be restored

Mysuru: After the direction of the state government asked Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation to restore employees who participated in the strike 15 days in April, the authority of transportation agents in Mysore and Chamarajanagar had initiated the process to lift 66 personnel.
Until now facing penalties.
Overall, 4,200 employees in all transportation companies managed by the state government strike for 15 days from April 7, demanding the implementation of the recommendation of the sixth payment commission.
However, the government does not meet their demands and all employees who are protested are suspended.
Of the 66 employees from MySuru and Chamarajanagar who were suspended for their role in agitation, 56 came from the latest district, while the rest were Rural Division Mysuru employees.
Drivers, conductors and employee trainees are among those who are suspended.
Mahesh, a KSRTC-conductor driver, who was among those suspended, said that, while they were relieved by the state government’s decision to recover them, they had lost salaries and benefits for months together.
“We will not be paid for salaries for months suspended, also not compensated for the benefits we reject at that time,” Mahest told Toi.
KSRTC MySuru Rural Division Controller M Srinivas said that the suspended employees will be restored after Lok Adalat, which will be held in the corporate office in Bengaluru.
“Adalat will be held around four weeks from the date of the government’s order.
The case of the suspended employee will be resolved in the form of settlement,” Srinivas told TI.
KSRTC Chamarajanagar Division Controller B Srinivas said that staff will be restored after relevant orders are released, and the formality is complete.
