67 DNLA Cadres Put Weapons in Assam

Guwahati: A total of 67 cadres from the National Liberation Army in DNLA), were formed in 2019 and operated in the DIGA district and carriicch in Assam, putting their weapons in a program held at Dhansiripar in Karbi District Anglong on Thursday.
His arms were set by DNLA cadres in front of the Additional Director General of Police (Special Branch) Hiren Chandra Nath and Chief Executive of the Ogged Carbi Autonomy Board (CEM), Tulairam Ronghang among other officials.
Appreciate the positive development of the rebels who returned to the mainstream, Assam Minister Himanta Buswa Sarma in a tweet said: “Committed to the dream of Prime Minister and Minister of Home Assam Progressive and Peace, I am happy to share it 67 DNLA cadres to set weapons today in Dhansiripar, carbi Anglong.
“DNLA cadres who were submitted were then taken to the appointed camp.
Nath said, “Some members have put their arms before and some there to give up.
They have given up today.
Their problems will be taken and they will be rehabilitated.” Ronghang told the media that the return of cadres to the mainstream by honoring the call of the Minister of Chief for a peaceful country was the best decision of cadres.
“Peace and progress are what we all want now,” he added.
