New Delhi: Sixty-seven percent of the upper class individual (HNI) plans to buy luxury property in the next two years to improve their lifestyle, revealing a survey conducted by Realty International India Sotheby.
This survey raises a response from more than 200 HNI and UHNIS to measure the mood of luxury home buyers throughout the top city of India – Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, and Goa.
In the choice of buying housing real estate, a city apartment in the range of Rs 10-25 Crore occupied the top of the charts, with 34 percent said they would look for a larger city-based apartment.
On the other hand, more than 1/4 respondents (29 percent) expressed their desire to get a vacation home in the price bracket of Rs 5-10 Crore.
About 29 percent of respondents were even willing to spend more than Rs 10 Crore for the right vacation home.
About 31 percent of HNI also said the biggest motivation for buying real estate in the last 18 months was a ‘good investment opportunity’ while 46 percent said the biggest reason for them to buy property in the pandemic year was a lifestyle upgrade.
