Noida / Ghaziabad: The Gautam Budh Nagar Health Department has tested 68 travelers from ‘risky’ countries, all of which returned the negative results of Covid.
GB Nagar has a list of 2,076 international leaflets entering the district in the last 15 days.
From them, 548 came from risky countries.
On the other hand, the Ghaziabad Health Department has tested 70 international leaflets from ‘risky’ countries.
This leaflet has completed eight days since they returned from abroad.
Ghaziabad has a list of 3,135 international leaflets entering the district between November 1 and December 7, 246 comes from high-risk countries.
Ghaziabad supervisory officer Dr.
RK Gupta said that all international passengers were played at the airport and were re-examined at the local level after eight days.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, 42 passengers arrived at Hindon airport and were tested for Covid.
Along with them, nine flight staff also took the test.
Dr.
Gupta said that the air suvidha portal began by the central government will also help passengers track districts.
“Through it, we can identify those who return from high-risk countries and investigate them on priorities,” he said.
However, the department faces challenges in tracing nearly 250 international passengers whose address is not suitable.
So far, this district traces 150 people whose addresses are also not suitable.
