Alibaug: At least 68 inmates and an middle prison employee in Raigad Regency Maharashtra have been tested positive for Covid-19, an official said on Tuesday.
Prisoners and prison staff were given Covid-19 tests on Monday, after 68 prisoners tested positive for infection, the prison supervisor said.
Infected people, including prison staff, have shifted to the center of Covid-19 in Nehuli Village, about 4 km from the city of Alibauug, for maintenance, officially more.
Meanwhile, district administration has identified Covid-19 hotspots in 36 villages in Alibaug Taluka, stated.
