Kabul, Afghanistan: At least 69 Taliban terrorists were killed and 23 suffered injuries when Afghan troops expelled terrorists from Qala-e-Naw City in the Badghis Province of Afghanistan.
“Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (AndSF), including the command of the National Army, supported by Afghan Air Force’s aggregation in various locations in Qala-e-NAW on Wednesday,” the ministry said in a statement.
High-armed Taliban terrorists invaded and briefly took control of the city on Wednesday before Afghan security forces launched a counterattack, Xinhua reported.
AndSF also confiscated several weapons and terrorist ammunition, the statement added.

Afghan troops have regained control of the city of Qala-e-Naw West Badghis Province in just a few hours after losing it in the hands of the Taliban, told the country’s defense ministry on Wednesday.
