Jaipur: A Whopping 7.71 Lakh Teenagers have been inoculated against Covid in the first two days of drive vaccination intended for children aged between 15-17 years.
On Tuesday, 4.3 lakh teens were given Jab.
The enthusiasm among the children towards vaccination has triggered a drive because more than 16.57% of the beneficiaries in this country have received the first dose.
Health Minister Parsadi Lal Meena said vaccination was carried out at 4,603 sites.
“In two days, we have reached 16.57% of the vaccination of children who qualified,” he said.
Vaibhav Galriya Health Secretary said vaccination had taken steps in the state.
Until 17:30 on Tuesday, the cumulative dose given to the beneficiaries rose to 8.34 crores, from 4.78 Crore was the first dose and 3.56 crore seconds.
In Sikar, the dose of more than 1.lakh was given on Tuesday, where 71,000 doses were children.
