Lucknow: At least seven District of Uttar Pradesh has succeeded in reaching the 10 best performance-performing districts in ‘Delta Rankings’ which was released by Niti Aayog for August 2021.
The districts of this district include Siddharthnagar, Bahraich, Sonbhadra, Chitrakoot, Fatehpur, Chitrakoot and Chandauli.
“There are 112 districts from all countries which are part of the ‘Aspirational District Transformation’ program and assessed based on progress carried out in 49 major performance indicators under five broad socio-economic themes such as health and nutrition, education, education, agricultural resources and water, financial inclusion and skills development, and infrastructure, “said a government official.
The district is monitored in real-time through the dashboard managed by Niti Aayog.
“The Delta ranking signifies efforts made by the state government and district judges respectively to improve the poor condition of the district),” said a government spokesman.
“Fatehpur, who worked on the standards set by Niti Aayog, has reached the second place in the field of development in this country.
It was followed by Siddharthnagar (third), Sonbhadra (fourth), Chitrakoot (fifth), Bahraich (seventh), Shraivasi (eighth) and Chandauli (ninth), “said a government spokesman.
He added that among the eight of these districts, Chitrakoot and Bahraich were superior according to the standard of Niti Aayog.
As a result, Niti Aayog has allocated additional budget for development work in these districts.
“In a delta rating as a whole, Chitrakoot has secured the fifth position in this country in parameters such as education, health and nutrition,” he said.
The Aspirational District Program was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in January 2018 as part of the government’s efforts to improve the standard of living citizens and ensure inclusive growth for all, the spokesman said, added that the program aimed at the Development of Discounts in the country.
