7 Iranian citizens raised the coast of Gujing with 50 kg heroin

Ahmedabad: Guard Coast India (ICG) and Gujarat’s anti-terrorism squad (ATS) on Saturday night seized a boat with seven crew members – all from Iran, outside Gujarat Coast and confiscated around 50 kg of Heroin worth Rs 150 Crore.
“On the basis of information received, regarding efforts to smuggle heroin in India, by Bhavesh Rojiya, ACP ATS, search operations along with Indian Pepersuard launched in Indian waters.

ICG will decide further action, “said ATS officers.
Last week, the Directorate of Income Intelligence (DRI) had won two shipping containers in Port Mundra who had arrived from Afghanistan through Bandar Abbas port in Iran from where they found Heroin worth Rs 2,000 Crore.
