Jaipur: Female Leopard is seen with one child with a trap camera in the jungle area of Jhalana on Friday.
The mother, known as Basanti, is an adult leopard that grows up and is usually seen on the edge of the jhalana.
This is the seventh child who has been seen in this area this year, taking a large cat population to 39.
According to experts, Basanti was first seen in 2015 and around eight years old, although it was not confirmed if the Tiger figure had given a previous birth.
This new child seems to be a few months old.
A recent study revealed that leopard density was too high for urban forests.
With newly born children regularly, adults are pushed out.
Looking for territory, this wild cat explores and is lost or killed in a territorial fight.
With the leopard population on the above track, there is an abundance expected to areas side by side with reserves.
Ideally, one male leopard requires at least 5 square kilometers.
The department plans to develop the surrounding forest areas, including the galta, which is more than 700 hectares.
The jualana forest area is spread in an area of 20 square kilometers.
