7 more CNG stations in Patna in March-end

Patna: Indian Gas Authority Limited (GAIL) will establish seven new CNG refueling stations in various locations throughout Patna in March.
With this, their total number will increase from 13 to 20 at the end of the next financial year, serving residents who prefer better fuel and environmentally friendly.
A K Sinha, General Manager Gail-Patna, told TI that four refueling stations were ready and will operate “after the license and other required documents obtained”.
“A total of five stations will start operating in February, with one more station approaching the completion.
Two additional stations are turned on at BHOOTNATH Road and in Khusrupur, and will operate in March,” he said and added, “With the increase in CNG-powered vehicles, we prepared More fuel filling stations.
“All of this will be a children’s booster station where CNG is transported through a cellular cascade (a group of cylinders installed on the truck) and then submitted to the vehicle through the dispenser.
CNG sold in Patna for Rs 69.90 Liter per kg on Thursday.
Gail has also decided to open a separate CNG station for the bus due to an increase in their number.
A letter was written to the Patna District Judge in this matter.
Administration has identified a plot of land in the Danapur area.
At present, the bus travels to Bailey Road and Transportation Nagar to get CNG.
On Patna, more than 17,000 autorickshaw and 70 buses run on CNG.
The district consumes around 51,000 kg of CNG every day.
The state government has decided to remove auto diesel and gasoline in patna and adjacent areas such as Danapur, Khagaul, and Phulwarisharif starting March 31, 2022.
