7 new detection Take Maharashtra Counts Omicron to 8

Mumbai: Seven new cases of Omicron variants are detected in Maharashtra on Sunday, taking the calculation of countries from those found infected with new covid tensions to eight.
Six of infected cases originated from Pimpri-Chinchwad and one from Pune.
In Mumbai, the count of international travelers with a variant suspicion rose to 19 with six cases on Sunday.
Dharavi got suspicion of his first Omicron with a 49-year-old priest, who returned from Tanzania, tested Covid’s positive.
The city does not have an Omicron detection confirmed.
The State Health Department said six Pimpri-Chinchwad infections came from one cluster.
A 44-year-old woman and her daughter aged 12 and 17, who came from Lagos in Nigeria to visit his brother in Pimpri-Chinchwad, infected by Omicron.
When the trio was tested positive for Covid, their 13 contacts were tracked and tested.
Furthermore, the 45-year-old female brother and two daughters, 7 and 1.5 years, were also found infected with variants.
Of the six affected by the family, all adults are fully vaccinated.
Their samples were sorted and found positive for Omicron at the Pune National Virology Institute.
The seventh person who tested positive was a 47-year-old Pune resident who had visited Finland from 18 to 25 November.
He was tested on November 29 because he had a lightweight fever and found a positive covid.
Dr.
Pradeep kicked, the State Supervisory Officer, said he had taken both the covishield vaccine dose and was really stable.
“Prohibiting 44-year-old women, all asymptomatic.
Even he has very light symptoms,” he said.
Awate added that the three adults had taken both doses of vaccines – two have taken covishield and one covaxin.
A 34-year-old man from Kalyan-Dombivli with a history of travel from South Africa is the first to be tested positive in the state.
“The cases we hear today are mostly sporadic micro groups with mild symptoms and history of travel.
We see some level of spread but will be early to talk about transmission,” said Dr Shashank Joshi, a member of the Covid Taskforce.
“There is a need to prevent clusters from them and make sure people generally don’t panic.
It’s a new variant and not a completely new virus, so the basics of Covid control will still be effective.
People must cooperate with masks.” In Mumbai, six more international travelers were found positive for Covid.
Overall, 19 travelers and six contacts they were accepted at Sevenhills Hospital under Omicron’s suspicion, said Dr.
Mangala Gomare, BMC executive health worker.

The results of several samples of Mumbai are expected on Monday.
Dharavi’s suspect, a Maulvi of 49, returned from Tanzania on November 4.
