Jaipur: A 7-year-old girl allegedly raped and killed by a man in a village under the Padukala Police Station in the Nagaur District.
The police have arrested the defendant who knew the family.
During the interrogation, the man claimed to rape and kill the girl under the influence of alcohol.
The locals demanded the death sentence to be accused.
According to the police, the girl lost at 3 pm on Monday and a massive hunt was immediately launched by her family and villagers to find it.
The victim was found laughed late at night.
“During the investigation, it was found that Dinesh (25) came to meet the girl’s mother.
He claimed she considered her mother as her sister.
When she had to go back, she asked the family to send someone with her so street dogs did not attack him.
The family sent their daughter.
It was then lost, “said a senior Saurur officer on Tuesday.
Because the girl was last seen with the defendant, she was truly interrogated.
“It was found that he was under the influence of alcohol and he first raped the girl and then killed him.
He claimed that he killed the girl to ensure that rape was not revealed,” the officer said.
The initial investigation advised the defendant used to supply the DJ sound system for marriage and party.
Meanwhile, the locals demanded the death sentence to be accused.
Nagaur SP Abhijeet Singh and other officers visited the family and ensured timely confidence in the defendant.
