70 new micro detention zones are declared in the district

Coimbatore: District administration has stated 70 new micro detention zones, taking a total of 96 in the last four days international passengers arrived at Coimbatore.
“Everything was tested for Covid-19.
Even though 96 samples have a s-gen drop, only four are confirmed to be an omicron case.
But we treat all as an Omicron case is on the safe side,” he said.
A per micro detention strategy, only a house where residents are tested positively with a decrease in s-genes and the closest environment they will be declared the detention zone, unlike last year when the streets are closed.
Separate Omicron Ward has been established at CMCH and ESI Hospital.
Most of the positive cases reported in the past few days show mild symptoms, the collector said.
“In accordance with the latest Triadie protocol, adults who have taken two covid vaccine doses and have no comorbidity can be isolated at home.
This will keep the reception level low.
But because of the rapid spread, people must be careful and follow the appropriate behavior of Covid.
“At present, only 18% of the positive cases are hospitalized and the rest isolated at home.
Private hospitals have been instructed not to recognize asymptomatic patients without comorbidity.
Those who are in the quarantine at home will be monitored by a special team,” Sameran said.
Like 70,955 frontline workers, health workers and senior citizens who qualify for booster shots in the first phase are expected to be vaccinated at the end of January.
Crowded buses that increase exposure to Covid-19, collectors say more buses will be operated in compliance with safety protocols.
The bloody fever hotspot was identified in the district, Sameanan said.
“Domestic breeder checkers are doing door inspections to doors and source reduction activities ongoing,” he added.
