70% of work is done, but the Revamp of Huda City Center will miss the October deadline

Gurgaon: The project to change the Junction City Center Huda is likely to lose the latest October 31 deadline as an official of the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) said that around 30% of the work has not been completed.
Starting in July 2019, this project was originally expected to be completed in 12 months.
It involves the construction of the 705 meter long-term underpass which is intended for passengers traveling from the signature towers towards Subhash Chowk, and opposite two directions along 269.5 meters between MF Husain Marg and Jalan Sector.
Twobridges two feet, equipped with escalators, lifts, and stairs, will also be arranged as part of the project – one on the road to the signature tower, and others on the road to Jalan Chowk IfFCO.
This project is expected to be valuable Rs 43.07 Crore.
“The deadline is October 31, but there is a problem.
There is a 66 KV electricity tower on track of one of the footwrobes, because there is a delay.
The construction of other structures is underway, but it seems to take three months away.
We strive to end the job as soon as possible Maybe, “said Jaspal Singh, Chief Engineer (Infrastructure-I), GMDA.
Other GMDA officials, who did not want to be named, said the delay in this project was due to “many reasons”, including the monsoon and pandemic, as well as some “obstacles”, such as the water supply line owned to be shifted.
“At present, the electric tower in one way is the only obstacle.
We have asked Dakshin Haryana Bijli Nigam Vitran (DHBVN) to shift this too.
The problem is in process,” the official said.
“About 70% of the work on the project has been carried out.
We hope it will be completed in November or December,” officially added.
This is the third time limit set this year that the Revamp project will be missed.
Previously, the March deadline was set for the project, which later turned into June, and then until October.
Huda city center is a critical intersection in the city because it functions as a point where traffic moves from the direction of Marg Subhash Netaji meet it from Jalan Mehrauli Gurgaon.
This is also the point where the last metro station in the Yellow Line Delhi Metro Corporation (DMRC) is located, which leads to dense traffic and high foot pedestrian feet in the area.
