Chandigarh: The UT Health Department has begun to vaccinate high-risk pregnant women capturing Covid-19.
“We have vaccassed 70 women like that until now.
The drive starts from Tuesday,” said Dr Amandeep Kang, Director of Health Services, UT.
“We have asked these women to contact us at our Helpdesk 1075 if there is a persistent headache or other symptoms after JAB.
This will be connected with our doctor and manage the appropriate case,” Kang said.
For pregnant women, there are no extra careful words because they can also take paracetamol for fever.
“We do not suggest anything else.
But if they feel panting or headaches, we can arrange ambulances.
Until now, we have not reported a bad event in this group,” Kang said.
This department is a woman counseling like that that comes to antenatal clinic.
“While checking their blood pressure, we advise them.
We hope by mouth to mouth more women may progress,” Dr.
Kang.
