70 Tim to overcome the increasing dengue fever, a malaria case in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad: A total of 70 rapid response teams, including 20 in rural areas, has been formed to deal with increasing cases of diseases transmitted through vectors in Ghaziabad.
The Integrated Disease Supervision Unit (IDSP) has also established four teams to oversee the number of cases.
Ghaziabad has so far recorded 368 Dengue cases, 16 Malaria and 39 Typhus scrubs – all of which have been violated last year.
In 2020, Ghaziabad recorded only 15 cases of dengue, 13 malaria and 2 typhus scrubs.
On Monday, there were 12 new cases of dengue fever.
Eight of these patients, including a 11-year-old girl, had to be hospitalized.
Increasing cases have been associated with expanded monsoons and water.
Officials also said people need to be more aware in general and prevent accumulation around it.
The decision to form 70 teams was among many decisions taken at the inter-department meeting held on Monday by the Chief Development Officer, Asmita Lal.
Departments, such as Urban Development, Education, Pancrayati Raj, Livestock, Women and Child Development, Agriculture and Irrigation, were instructed to prepare their own action plan and hand them over to the Ministry of Health on October 11.
