Letter: Before the Supreme Court ordered a day of staying at the dismantling of slums along the railroad between the letter train station and Udhna in the letter City, the train authorities had destroyed more than 700 houses on Tuesday.
Slum orders were destroyed to develop additional lines for delivery movements.
The demolition was carried out at the Mafat Nagar, Angashi Nagar and Milan Nagar of a total of 22 slums planned to be destroyed between two train stations.
“About 10,000 houses must be destroyed in 22 slums.
They only applied the notification on the wall a few days ago and start demolition on Tuesday morning,” the alleged Aadesh Sable, an activist human rights and land tissue.
“The Gujarat High Court has instructed the train to coordinate with the state government for rehabilitation for the affected population.
But without providing alternative residences, demolition began.

In the past, the residents of the slum had been protested in various locations in the city.
They made a representation to the State Minister of Union for the train Darshana Jardosh during his visit to the city last week.
Residents demand alternative houses similar to the EWS housing scheme offered to residents of other slums in the city.
“The residents of this slum have approached various government departments in the past but they did not receive a reply,” Sable claims.
