Thiruvananthapuram: The country witnessed 7,167 positive cases of 65,158 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Among new cases detected, 6,010 people have taken vaccinations, 2,674 has taken both vaccines, and 1,842 people don’t even take a single dose.
The current total active case is 79,185, where 8% of people are accepted either in hospitals or other care centers.
Meanwhile, 14 Covid deaths were reported, taking victims in the state to 31,681.
At the same time, 6,439 patients had recovered from this disease.
Among new cases, 6,879 cases have been infected through local deployment.
Infectious contact sources cannot be traced to 221.
There are 42 health professionals among those infected, and 25 people have arrived from outside the country.
Ernakulam reported the highest number of cases with 1,046, followed by Thiruvananthapuram (878), Thrissur (753), Kozhikode (742), Kollam (550), Idukki (550), Kottayam (506), Patakkad (339), Palakkad (339)) , Malappuram (334), Kannur (304), Wayanad (269), Alappuzha (270) and Kasaragod (137).
There are a total of 2,72,248 people currently observing in various districts, where 2,64,972 are in their homes or institutional quarantine centers, and 7276 in hospital isolation.
In accordance with the weekly infection population ratio, 115 wards in 77 local bodies have more than 10% wipr.
