Hyderabad: About 72kg marijuana was confiscated and four people were arrested in two different attacks by the Task of Sleuths on Thursday.
In one case, the police focused on Narsing Singh and Ramavath Ramesh, both residents in Sr.
Nagar, and arrested them from a house in Rehmarat Nagar in Yousufguda along with 70kg smuggled.
They have been sourced from Sileru in the AP, police said.
At the press meeting on Thursday, Police Commissioner Hyderabad Anjani Kumar said that Ramavath previously sold illegal liquor but then turned to marijuana and began working for one Bharat Singh.
Both were arrested before.
After being released from prison, Ramavath began driving an auto, but immediately hand in hand with Narsing Singh also sold marijuana.
In other cases in Chaderghat, two men, Kishore Singh and Mohammed Feroz, each of which was a resident of Dhoolpet and Chaderghat, was arrested with 2 kg of marijuana when they searched for customers.
